Sometimes it takes forever to finish even the most simple quilt tops. This top was mostly finished right? since the blocks were already pieced and I had squared them up months ago. So why does it take so long to set them together?
I sew a little then I take a break, sometimes the break is for a few minutes and sometimes a week. We all know what that is like, the important things is that we enjoy the journey.
Here is the Blue vintage 9 patch hanging on the design wall (a sheet tacked in front of my closet). I have all of the columns pieced and the sashings in columns also and now sewing them together. I think I decided there are only 3 long seams left to finish it up and not going to put a border on it.
Hope I get it done by next week so I can finish up a couple more projects that have been in the works.
